This was never meant to be a game. This is an app to help make playing the game easier. It does that very well

I can’t do anything because it just changes turn so I can’t do anything

I just got confused by what to do because I the real code names you get to see the board and so I think it should be more like the game word to treasure

Great app for the game. Really makes it fun with the timers and random cards. I just wish it had an “always hide” selection for the cards. Sometimes phones take a second to register that they are flat or not and it would be nice if there was a way for cards to be always hidden unless the button was pushed. That is all, great game and app goes with it well.

Very generous of them to make this. Thank you! Support for iPhone X would be nice but it works perfectly as is.

This app is not a game by it self. He must have to tabletop game. As such, it functions perfectly.

I got this game because I really liked the board game but the digital game was really hard. It didn’t explain to you how to play and was super confusing and not user-friendly. Not a game I kept on my iPad.

The timer with announcements, as well as random key maps are just what Codenames needs in a companion app. This app does just what the description says and does it great. It doesn't deserve any of its low ratings from salty players that want it to be the full game.

This ap is great and allows for an handy way to generate balanced keys. There are a few reviews giving the app bad reviews because it doesn't do what they want. It's a companion app and it is very handy at that.

I would rather pay money and get the full game so that I can play it on my iPad. This app is not useful.

If all you want is more key cards, here you go. The co-op setting doesn't do anything different and thus isn't co-op. I was hoping that I could use this until codenames duet comes out... But that's not the case.

Was hoping it would have different word or picture codenames but it only has the map ("key card"). How often do you have all the codenames cards and not the key cards? Pointless.

Works well. Wish it used augmented reality to color he cards on the table though, would be very convenient.

Much easier to view and interpret than the small key cards. Each spymaster can have his own copy of the keycard by inputting the game number. Auto hide is a helpful must!

The app is great and the card generation works very well. Would be great if they could also include the starting color on the sides or something, similar to how they have it on the physical cards.

I love how simple the app is and how easily it works with the game. Using it on IPad is awesome as the two spymasters don't have to pass the key card back and forth. I especially like the auto-hide feature so you can lay the iPad down!

This is a really nice companion app for a great game!
